Adetunji A. Oyeyipo, Esq, SAN.
A Partner at Abdullahi Ibrahim & Co., Adetunji Oyeyipo graduated from the University of Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1982 with combined Honours in English and Philosophy, he subsequently obtained his LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Ibadan Nigeria in 1986. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in1987 and has been in active legal practice with Abdullahi Ibrahim & Co. since 1987 to date.
Though an all-rounder; he has particular expertise in civil/ criminal litigation especially in areas of Constitutional, Corporate Finance, Electoral, Labour Law, Capital Markets and Oil and Gas. In recognition of his uncommon advocacy skills and profound analysis of the law he was admitted into the Inner Bar as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN) (equivalent of a QC in England) in 2004.
Adetunji Oyeyipo has served in various capacities including as a member of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (2000-2002); Secretary Nigerian Bar Association, Kaduna Branch between 1993 and1994. He has been an Assessor of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers Disciplinary Tribunal since 1999 to date and a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved Capital Market Consultant, he has attended several SEC approved courses, Seminars, etc.
He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Law Breed Publications, publishers of the Supreme Court Law Reports. He heads the Lagos office of Abdullahi Ibrahim & Co.
